| First Hello
|
Well, this is my first post on my new blog. My sister, Kristyn, helped me sign it up this morning. She still has a few things that she wants to put on here for me. We've got to do it either tonight, or tomorrow sometime; because she and Matt (her husband) are leaving tomorrow night to head home. I'm amazed that it's been two and a half weeks already! I'm going to be sad tomorrow when they leave, but things here will probably get back to normal pretty quickly. I'll also be worried about them; since we were watching the weather channel earlier today and they said it'll be bad weather. Where it's going to be bad is all along where they will be the whole time.
Well, I think I got pretty good gifts this Christmas. Tim gave me a really pretty purple tanzanite ring with a little bagette diamonds on each side. It's soo pretty. My parents got me an electronic keyboard (which Tim taught me how to play two songs "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" & "Heart and Soul"... That was soooo nice of him and a lot of fun too), then I got three puzzles, some new Eeyore p.j's, some slipper socks, $50 gift card to Old Navy (I spent that on Sunday online ;), I got lots of good bargins). Then Matt and Kristyn gave me a poster of Tom Welling. Mark and Staci gave me mini tea sets and some Yu-Gi-Oh cards. Mike and Angie gave me a bucket of beauty supplies. Aunt Pam gave me a porcelain cat doll and Hilary Duff's newest CD. Then from my Grandma Rhodes I got a nativity set and a $50 bill, she said she did that so I could buy what I wanted. THEN, I got a really cute doll that has a velvet dress on, and $40 from Aunt Sandy. So like I said, I think I did pretty good this Christmas... I'm soo spoiled.
So, on New Years eve, we're going to have a kind of party, just Mom, Dad, Tim, and me. I don't know what we're going to make though. I was thinking of these pretzel rods dipped in chocolate and rolled in whatever we want, like nuts, sprinkles, etc. Mom and I were also thinking about making these chicken wings that my Cousin Josh (he's in culinary arts school) made at my Aunt's house on Christmas, they were fab. But other than that, we're not sure what else we're going to make, but we're just going to enjoy each others company.
So, my Birthday is coming up also, but I know what I'm getting! I'm getting to go to a Leanne Rimes Concert that's at Primm Nevada, on the 29th. Tim gets to go also, YAY!!!!!! My Mom's going to try to get floor seating, it would be soo cool if I got to sit front row. We'll get to eat out too, if we get there early enough, lol. Otherwise, I guess it's McDonalds. That's ok though, I like McDonalds. It'll be a lot of fun either way.
So my next driving lesson is on the 4th of January. I've only been driving three time though since my first one, so, I hope I can get at least a couple more in before then. Matt was going to take me, but the weather got bad, and neither I nor my Mom wants me to drive in this weather, until I learn better. Mom and I went out today and it was soo flooded, I think we might have been floating a few times.
So, I'll tell details on later blogs. About the stuff I've already told about on here, and new things that may come up.
